Matthew Halton School requires a temporary full-time Educational Assistant. This position will commence on November 4, 2024 and end on December 20, 2024.

Desired qualifications include the following: Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility

Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex needs

Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team

Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needs

Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an asset
