The Richmond School District is seeking a qualified part-time secondary teacher for Semester 2 at McRoberts Secondary. This position consists of one block of Home Economics and one block of Senior Mathematics.

A demonstrated ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds is expected. The FTE for this assignment is currently 0.5714 but it may increase or decrease between now and the start of Semester 2.

McRoberts is a dual track English/French Immersion school. McRoberts prides itself on supporting the growth of the whole person, with a focus on learning, inclusion, student voice, and social-emotional wellness. Our staff works collaboratively to strengthen the school culture to ensure everyone is working towards a common goal of creating a welcoming and supportive community for all students that prioritizes the well-being and success of every student.

The successful candidate for this position must be a qualified intermediate teacher with current academic and professional preparation as well as teaching experience at the intermediate grade levels. All candidates must be certified by the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch.
