15 hrs. per week, Monday to Friday

Anticipated hours - 10:15 Am to 1:15 Pm

Reporting to the Principal/designate, the TA General provides assistance to teachers (including counsellors and teacher librarians) and to the Principal/ school office, using both computerized and manual systems. Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Graduation (including Information Technology courses)

Proven success in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with children and adults

Language programs require fluency in both English and an alternate language (both written and spoken)

Good organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills

Some knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment OR an equivalent combination of training and experience Desirable Qualifications and Experience: St. John's Ambulance-Emergency First Aid Certificate or SOFA with CPR

Keyboarding skills

Post-secondary courses in Child Development
