The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Temporary Bus Driver in the Yorkton area. Bus Drivers are valuable members of the team who provide safe, efficient and punctual transportation of students.

Position Details: Temporary Part Time

Route: Ykn 3 - Ebenezer to Yorkton

The duties of a Bus Driver are to: Support safe, positive environments for students.

Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety.

Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading.

Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided.

Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description Transportation: Bus Driver.The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications: Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent

A valid drivers license with "S" endorsement.

Clean drivers abstract.Interviews will be conducted upon application. Please note that GSSD may contact informal references not listed in your application package.Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
