The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team to provide direct instruction to learners with diverse needs including: Strategies for learners to use in classroom settings.
Skill development or remediation including functional skills, social skills, communication, and academic skillsThe role may include other responsibilities that align with the function of a resource teacher.
Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor of Education
Completion of a Master of Education degree in Special Education or equivalent or a Diploma in Special Education or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of classroom teacher experience
Membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch
