have experience and desire to work with students with diverse academic, social-emotional and behavioural needs in the classroom.
have experience/desire to work with primary school students in a school setting
have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
are committed to learn and improve skills to meet student needs
are passionate and committed to helping children achieve their full potential
are able to proactively respond to groups of students as required in a classroom setting
are flexible and able to adapt to changes in their work environment
contribute to a positive team environment
have a Teacher Assistant Diploma or Early Childhood Development Certificate
Have an understanding of child development and learning
