The French Immersion TTOC works on-call to relieve teachers on a day-to-day basis or short-term assignments. French Immersion and French vacancies are prioritized but other TTOC opportunities also available.

The starting rate for a Teacher Teaching On-Call ranges from $306.73 to $456.31 per day, with placement on the July 1, 2023 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Additionally, TTOC's are paid $11.00 per day in lieu of benefits.

To join Abby Schools as a French Immersion TTOC, individuals must have the following qualifications: Teacher training with major practicum in French Immersion

Major/minor in French

Ability to demonstrate fluency in written and spoken French

Good spoken and written communication in English

Teaching Competencies:
