We invite applications for a one-year contract teaching opportunity at St. Andrews College. We seek applicants to teach one of two or a combination thereof of Physics, Business, and French in the Upper School. This is a one-year contract with the opportunity for an extension beyond the 2024/2025 academic year. This role will report to the Deputy Head of School.
Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Education, ideally with credentials to teach Mathematics and Sciences, including Physics, and preferably one of Business or French, and are certified to teach in Ontario or be in pursuit of this designation. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement. Additionally, we seek candidates with a demonstrated willingness to participate in and/or lead EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) initiatives within the community.
