QUALIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS FOR

2024 Summer School eLearning Markers

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 2, 2024 to July 26, 2024 (inclusive)

QUALIFICATIONS: Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in the Intermediate/Senior Divisions in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations. Applicants should also be familiar with the eLearning environment as an educational delivery model.

Summer School eLearning markers are responsible for preparing and maintaining their eLearning course Brightspace page, assessment and evaluation of students, communication with students and parents/caregivers, and end of program reporting.

Teachers must attend a virtual start-up staff meeting and are expected to be available online one hour per day during the week.

RATE OF PAY: $8.00 per lesson (grade 9 & 10 courses)

$10.00 per lesson (grade 11 & 12 courses)

eLearning summer school courses will be offered in the following subject areas subject to sufficient registration:

Business Canada / World Studies English

French Mathematics Science

Social Science CivicsCareer Studies

Physical and Health Education

Your application must include a complete resume, copy of your current Certificate of Qualification , practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references (at least one of which must be a current principal/supervisor, if applicable).
