Creating Futures, Leading and Learning for All We are currently accepting applications for School Support Assistant. Under the supervision of the Manager of Accounting Services, the School Support Assistant maintains trust fund records, reviews and verifies school tax rebates, provides school banking and school generated funds support, and issues charitable receipts. The incumbent also assists with the development and delivery of business training to Board staff. The School Support Assistant is focused on providing customer service to schools and Board office staff. Joining the UCDSB in an occasional capacity is a great way to gain experience for those looking to obtain a long-term occasional or permanent position with Upper Canada DSB.

Hours of Work: 8:30 - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful completion of a two year community college diploma in Finance/Accounting.

A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably in a computerized financial environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Ability to travel to other locations/worksites, sometimes at short notice, is required. Application:

Selection Process:

Applicants selected for an interview will be invited to attend a virtual live interview via Microsoft Teams. Interviews typically include a panel of two (2) Hiring Managers.
