We are seeking an organized, creative and caring individual to join our team. You must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Ideally, you will exhibit a love for children along with an appreciation for their spontaneity. You will provide a fun environment with mentally stimulating elements encouraging a love for learning. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Grade 2 classroom while setting the foundation needed to develop lifelong learning skills. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to adapt to the diverse needs of the students.

This is a full time temporary assignment to commence January 6th, 2024 for the duration of the school year. This is a maternity leave replacement position with the possibility of an extension. Preference will be given to an applicant with a degree in Elementary Education along with experience teaching at Division I level. You must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate or be qualified to obtain one.
