- Possession of a valid BC Professional Teaching certificate/diploma
- Experience as a teacher of Careers Education
- Experience working with Middle Years students (especially Gr.9)
- Strong assessment practices and familiarity with the Proficiency Scale of Assessment
- Demonstration of and growing understanding of incorporating Indigenous-focused learning
- Excellent understanding of and experience using differentiated instruction
- Demonstration of excellent teaching practices using current pedagogical best practices
- Demonstration of strong classroom management skills
- Possession of excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with staff in a team approach
- Evidence of a strong understanding and support of Christian education
- Ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all lessons
- Must be a practising Christian with a commitment to Christian Education and the Statements of Faith as outlined in CRCS's Statements of Faith as well as the Statements of Faith outlined by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)Salary range (Jan-June): $2,885.88 - $5,412.96
