The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Building Futures - Grade 10 Social Studies/ELA/CTS teaching position starting August 27, 2024 at RVS Community Learning Centre - Cochrane Campus. RVS Community Learning Centre - Cochrane Campus, located in

the Town of Cochrane, serves students from grades 9-12. Information regarding this school may be found at https://rvsclc.rockyview.ab.ca/.

Building Futures is a program where two teachers work with a class of 30 grade 10 students over a course of a year. The teachers work off site to support students to do their entire grade 10 curriculum as the students work with our partner Kingsmith Builders to build a home from the ground up. The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification .
