We invite applications for the temporary position of: 0.50 Grades K-7 Teacher Counsellor
Please note this temporary position will end June 30, 2025 or upon return of the incumbent.
The successful candidate will have: Master's Degree in Educational Counselling or related field (must include a 300 hour supervised, school based practicum at the appropriate level)
Successful teaching experience at the Elementary school level
Experience in counselling at the required level
A good understanding of the therapies relevant to Elementary school-aged children
Experience and demonstrated ability to provide individual and group counselling services to students
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies
