For Drayton Christian School in Drayton Valley, AlbertaWe are seeking a leader who exemplifies a dynamic, collaborative management style in an

environment of positive interaction with all education partners who will model the mission, vision, and values of Wild Rose School Division and Drayton Christian School. Candidates will possess or be working towards a post-graduate degree in administration, leadership or related field. Candidates should also demonstrate strong instructional leadership skills, an ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of educational stakeholders, and demonstrate experience as an effective teacher. An understanding of Collaborative Response Model and Response to Intervention will be considered an asset.

Special consideration may be given to candidates who have knowledge and experience working within Inclusive Education and ensuring that all students have access to quality programming and resources. Demonstrate success working collaboratively with learning teams to provide students with the opportunity to access learning environments that are the least restrictive and most responsive. Skilled at facilitating collaboration, sharing and modeling best practices. The ability to build staff efficacy is essential.

Start date will be August 27, 2024.

Drayton Christian School is a publicly funded alternative program of Wild Rose School Division. We are a non-denominational open enrollment Christian School whose staff members and students come from a variety of churches and denominations. Drayton Christian School has approximately 200 students from ECS to Grade 9 and around 20 full-time staff members.A complete package will include a cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single google or pdf document. A statement of Christian educational philosophy/beliefs, pastors reference, and a statement of Christian faith is required. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record (Vulnerable Sector) check as a condition of employment. Posting will remain open until a successful candidate is chosen but all applications received by 4:00 pm on April 29, 2024 will be given full consideration.
