The Division prides itself on providing staff and students with the tools to achieve success by offering dynamic programming, up-to-date resources and practical professional learning opportunities.EIPS is recruiting two full-time Division Two French Immersion Teachers at cole Parc lmentaire. cole Parc lmentaire serves approximately 350 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 17 teaching staff and 16 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.

cole Parc lmentaire offers single-track, French Immersion programming. The school is a diverse French Immersion learning community that inspires a love of learning, encourages student individuality and promotes global citizenship in a safe, caring and enriched environment. The school values the importance of strong learning partnerships among students, teachers, parents and the community while wanting each student to be successful to their greatest capacity. cole Parc lmentaire is also a designated Play and Learn at School (PALS) pre-kindergarten site within the Division.

Commencing August 27, 2024

Teaching assignments are Grade 5/6 and Grade 6

Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position. Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Excellent communication skills in both French and English

Effective organization and classroom management skills

Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
