Course: Introduction to Emergency Services
The course begins May 1, 2024 and concludes June 12, 2024
The successful applicant will report directly to the Superintendent of Education.
Dedicated teacher in a dual credit, may be expected to:
Work with the College to provide an orientation for participating students;
Meet with College teacher prior to the beginning of course;
Work with College faculty to identify areas where remediation of the students may be required;
Provide or facilitate necessary remediation;
Refer students for career counseling to secondary school staff or to college support services, if necessary or requested by the students;
Collect and submit data required by College/School Board;
Co-ordinate the exchange of academic progress information (marks and attendance) between the post- secondary institution and the students home school.
Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will, as a minimum:
Hold a Certificate of Registration for Ontario College of Teachers;
Hold Senior qualifications (at the time of application);
Hold a Religious Education Certificate Part 1 or Letter of Equivalency.We thank you for your interest; however only those selected for in interview will be contacted.
