Position: Consultant of Religion Education, Family Life, Faith & Equity - Permanent
Location: Kemptville Board Office
Salary: As per Collective Agreement

Expertise:
Religious Education and Family Life Curriculum (JK-12), Faith and Equity with Adult Faith Formation
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Superintendent of School Effectiveness, the Consultant will provide support for the delivery of religious education services to the elementary and secondary schools. Other responsibilities will include the development of resources in faith and equity which will enhance religious education programs, and the delivery of Professional Development programs for teachers from Junior Kindergarten to 12.
Qualifications: Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
Religious Education, Specialist
Masters Degree in Theology/Divinity or an Undergraduate Specialist in Religious Studies or Theology is an asset
Demonstrated leadership and expertise in the planning and delivery of Religious Education, Family Life, and Equity programs and teacher professional development
Current knowledge of curriculum issues and assessment practices in alignment with the Institute for Catholic Education and the Ontario Ministry of Education
