Regularly moving through the halls of the school during the school day to support a safe, academically focused school community.

Being assigned to a supervision location in the school during lunch and after school, i.e., cafeteria, library, hallways, outside, etc.; Ensuring a safe and secure environment for the students, staff and visitors.

Assisting with the enforcement of school expectations regarding uniform and behaviour

Supervision and monitoring of male and female washrooms.

Maintaining a respectful and approachable demeanor, fostering a positive and inclusive environment

Engaging with staff and students and building positives relationships.

Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and students to create a safe learning environment. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma

18 years of age or over;

Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

Conflict resolution skills

Crisis management skills

Strong communication and internal skills through active listening

Effective problem solving and decision-making skills

Demonstrated experience with de-escalation skills Hourly Rate: $24.20 to $25.46 per hour

Hours of Work: Permanent Full-time, 20 hours per week

(Work schedule to be determine by the administrator)

Work schedule includes a hour unpaid lunch break
