Start Date September 2024

Schedule - Full time (guaranteed hours)

Location Langley Secondary SchoolREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Red Seal certification with minimum 5 years journeyperson experience in one of the Piping trades (Plumber, Sprinkler system Installer, Steamfitter).

Experience working with at-risk youth, strong knowledge and usage of technology to enhance learning is an asset.

A Bachelor of Education degree (Technology or Industrial Education concentration) or equivalent training

Industrial education courses equal to 33 units which are relevant to prescribed curriculum including appropriate teaching methodology courses for the assignment.

Appropriate journeyman's status or equivalent (if CPP)

A copy of your Red Seal in a piping trade

A copy of your transcript (official or unofficial) for your program

A copy of the credential received after completing your teaching program

A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC)

PLEASE NOTE The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
