The ALCDSB builds faith-filled learning communities where each member is loved, inspired, and successful.Position Summary: The Software and Program Development Officer will focus on bridging the gap between the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. They help ensure that the software development lifecycle is efficient, reliable, and scalable, focused on faster delivery of high-quality software products.
What you bring to the team: Completion of post-secondary education in a related technology field
Minimum of 3 years of previous work experience in software deployment or design
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
Proficiency in Microsoft environment with emphasis an on MS Intune
Extensive experience is scripting and PowerShell
Strong problem-solving abilities
Adaptability and willingness to learn
