The successful candidate will support the building of Catholic character and culture within school communities through the effective delivery of curriculum initiatives related to Student Success, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program and supporting the Specialist High Skills Major program in a team approach. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated ability in project management, event coordination, budgeting, and reporting, and will act as an effective communicator who has demonstrated the ability to collaborate as a team as it relates to the Board Improvement Plan for Student Achievement and Wellbeing. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in promoting apprenticeship pathways grade 7 to Adult and supporting students access to them in Secondary School through a team approach using experiential learning opportunities. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in the inquiry model for professional development and the integration of technology. They will work as part of an integrated team supporting the work of the K-12 system, in partnership with other central staff. In addition, the successful candidate must be committed to their own faith and professional development within a framework of an authentic ministry of service. The successful candidate will be expected to provide their own vehicle to travel to school sites. Travel expenses will be paid according to Article 25 of the current Collective Agreement.
