The Near North District School Board is Hiring!

1.0 Temporary Speech Language Pathologist- East Region

Effective Immediately to June 27, 2024

Location : East Region: Sundridge, South River & Surrounding Communities

Reporting to the Principal of Special Education. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment and treatment of communication disorders for students of the Near North District School Board.

As the Speech Language Pathologist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the children and youth that we serve in the Near North District School Board.

Qualifications : Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Current Registration in good standing with CASLPO or eligibility to register with CASLPOKnowledge and Skills: Proven experience providing assessment, consultation and treatment services to support children with speech and language disorders

Direct experience providing clinical supervision of Communication Disorders Assistants

Willingness to undertake Itinerant duties providing Speech Language Pathology services in schools across the Near North District School Board

Previous experience working with school-aged populations would be an asset

Must possess own vehicle and ability to travel to multiple locations as assignedRate of Pay: $55.90 per hour inclusive of vacation pay and applicable statutory holiday pay Please ensure your have uploaded your applicable Educational Diploma(s) and/or Degree(s) to your Apply to Education Portfolio All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada
