CTR Catholic is seeking a Student Services Consultant. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the Students Services Consultant will be instrumental to advancing our commitment to inclusive education and responsible for offering school consultations on diverse educational needs, with a focus on addressing English as an Additional Language. The Student Services Consultant will support students in enhancing their strengths, overcoming learning challenges, and fostering areas for growing using appropriate universal and targeted strategies. Additionally, they will provide guidance and assistance in modifying curricular delivery to optimize accessibility and inclusivity within classroom environments. The responsibilities include:

- collaborating with administrators, learning support teachers, teachers, educations assistants and external agencies

- planning and implementing Individualized Support Plans (ISPs)

- assisting with level B testing

- conducting in-service and training sessions

- supporting teachers and students with assistive technologies

- implement and uphold Student Services policies and procedures

- supporting alternative programs and opportunities in CTR High Schools, such as RAP, Work Experience, Dual Credit, Career Counselling and CAREERS placements

- other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services.

This full-time position is based at the Catholic Education Center in Okotoks, Alberta, and travel is required. The successful candidate will hold a valid teaching certificate and have extensive teaching experience; a Masters degree is considered an asset.
