Education assistants within Red Deer Catholic Schools operate in both support and response models. The support and response models are a team approach to meeting the needs of our students. Educational Assistant teams are created within the support model, to support the cognitive, communication, medical, academic, and social-emotional needs of our students. Within the response model, Educational Assistants respond to immediate student needs based on students' regulation
