The Bus Fleet Technician (mechanic) reports to the Transportation Manager and will be based at the Peace River School Division's Central Operations Building located in Grimshaw, Alberta.

Job duties include: Repairs and maintenance of school buses
Repairs and maintenance of Equipment and service vehicle fleet
Repairs and maintenance of Heavy Truck and trailers (Class 1 training school)
Fleet inspections, troubleshooting and other related duties as assigned Applicants should have good organizational habits and maintain a safe, clean work environment. As a member of the Peace River School Division Support Staff a competitive wage and benefits package is offered in accordance with an established grid.
Preference will be given to individuals with Journeyman Trade Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and/or Automotive Mechanic and individuals with experience operating a tow truck. Individuals must be reliable, hold a valid class 5 license, display a positive work attitude and have good communication skills. Requirements: Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
