JOB SUMMARY:

The mandate of the Campus Youth Worker is to provide supervision and promote student safety. The Campus Youth Worker will be working in an environment involving students in Grades 8 to 12. Under the direction and supervision of the Principal and Vice-Principal, the primary responsibilities of the Campus Youth Worker will include: Circulating on the campus, both internally and externally;

Monitoring student behaviour and attendance, to communicate and to report as necessary to school authorities;

Assisting in the maintenance and enhancement of a safe school environment;

Other related duties.QUALIFICATIONS : 2-3 year Community College Diploma in the field of Youth Worker, Certificate in Developmental Services Worker Program, Behaviour Management Technology or related education and experience;

Experience working with adolescents;

Superior inter-personal skills important for school based activities;

self-directed, critical thinking team player with excellent organizational skills;

a composed, discreet and profession manner, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines with minimal direction; CLOSING: All interested applicants are invited to submit an updated resume including details of qualifications, experience and professional references.
