ABOUT St. Joseph the Worker Elementary School in Richmond is seeking a part time music teacher commencing September 1, 2024. The ideal candidate is seeking a school that nurtures and develops the whole child; mind, body and spirit. This position could also be combined with a classroom position should the ideal candidate be seeking full time work. The music teacher ideally leads the organization and production of a school play/musical once every two years, the Advent concert and the music for monthly masses. In addition, the music teacher oversees the primary and intermediate choirs outside class time (typically am and lunch). This is an opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and build on a strong music foundation at St. Joseph the Worker.

This person is passionate about teaching and learning, enjoys working in a team environment and is able to contribute to the school community outside the classroom through their love of music. On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia.
