The Steward School seeks an enthusiastic and committed Middle School Division Assistant for the academic year 2024-2025. This is a full-time, fully benefited, 12-month faculty and administration support position reporting to the Director of Middle School, starting June 10, 2024.

Responsibilities: Maintain commitment to the Mission and Philosophy of the School

Coordinate and direct all Middle School front office communication/reception efforts for faculty, parents, students, and visitors.

Assist with substitute teachers using the Red Rover management system and ensure classroom coverage as needed.

Maintain security protocols with door management and communications.

Maintain accurate attendance records.

Maintain Division financial records and accounting reconciliations for Middle School budget accounts, expenditures, and budget planning.

Coordinate all Division special events, including Back-to-School Night, recognition ceremonies, and faculty/staff parties.

Serve as a liaison between Division Director and parents or visitors.

Assist with calendar management for the Middle School.

Support Middle School Director in the implementation of division policy and procedures.

Serve as Division liaison to Grade Parent Representatives/Coordinator and all related activities.

Coordinate Division work orders for maintenance and special event arrangements.

Develop and maintain Division presentations and television announcements.

Oversee Division field trip events and arrangements (including coordination of medical information/supplies with school nurse).

Maintain supplies for Division (classrooms, office, and faculty lounge).

Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Director of Middle School.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree and technology proficiency is required.

The preferred candidate will have: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The desire and ability to develop an atmosphere of trust and knowledge of students and faculty as individuals.
