Schreiber Public School - (SCPS)

The successful candidates will all be 0.5 FTE Administration and 0.5 FTE Teaching. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate self-awareness, an ability to hold oneself accountable, possess superior academic, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, along with demonstrated leadership and expertise in educational administration with the ability to see things from a system perspective. The individual will exhibit a high level of energy, enthusiasm and have the necessary skills to maximize community involvement.Valid Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification in good standing indicating the applicant holds Principal qualifications Part 2 or a definite plan to obtain same within a reasonable period of time. Applicants without Principal qualifications must submit a written plan, including timelines to obtain Principal qualifications with their application.Teaching assignment is dependent upon qualifications of the successful candidate, however special education Part 1, 2 and Specialist are a preferred requirement.Applications MUST include a resume outlining qualifications, experience and an up-to-date Certificate of Qualification. Applicants must also submit the names of three (3) professional references, one of whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with the telephone numbers and email addresses, as well as a written authorization from the applicant permitting the Board to contact these references. Information from such persons will be gathered in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
