Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting Summer School Teachers for the following courses: Physical Education/CALM Combined Course

English (10-1, 20-1, 20-2, 30-1, 30-2)

Social Studies (10-1, 20-1, 20-2, 30-1, 30-2)

Mathematics (10-3, 10C, 20-1, 20-2, 30-1, 30-2)

Science (Science 10, Science 30, Biology 20, Biology 30, Chemistry 20, Chemistry 30, Physics 20, Physics 30) Open to: Internal and external candidates who are qualified teachers

These 5 credit courses will run weekdays from July 2 to July 26, 2024 with class times from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. The teacher will be compensated for 85 hours of instruction, 5 hours of supervision and 10 hours of preparation at a rate of $59.31 per hour.

Please indicate and prioritize the specific courses you would be proficient in teaching in your cover letter.

Experience teaching the course will be considered an asset.

Experience teaching in a condensed timeline will be considered an asset.

These positions are conditional on sufficient student registrations.

The successful candidate(s) must have or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
