EIPS is recruiting a full-time Kindergarten Teacher at Fultonvale Elementary Junior High. Fultonvale Elementary Junior High serves approximately 500 students in kindergarten to Grade 9, with 24 teaching staff and 11 support staff. The school is located in rural Strathcona County, AB, approximately 13 kilometres southeast of Sherwood Park, AB.

The Fultonvale Elementary Junior High's mission is to provide a positive environment where students are able to develop to their full potential. The school promotes lifelong learning and continuous personal growth and development for all students, staff and families. Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree.

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.

Preferred experience in implementing play-based learning approaches in early childhood settings.

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.

Plan and facilitate play-based learning experiences that align with curriculum standards.

Effective organization and classroom management skills.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice.

Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals.

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.

Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
