School District No. 48 is currently looking for on-call Custodians

to join our team in the Squamish, Whistler & Pemberton areas!

Rate of Pay : $29.58 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

General cleaning of schools as assigned by the Manager of

Maintenance which includes lifting of miscellaneous furniture, changing lights,

operation of motorized cleaning equipment, knowledge of chemicals and

application of floor coatings and attention to building security.

Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 plus

relevant courses/workshops and up to and including three (3) months

related experience or an equivalent combination of related training and

experience.

Relevant courses/workshops

would be the Building Service Worker course.

Knowledge of Workplace

Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Workers Compensation

Board (WCB) safety regulations.
