Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Administrator, the Supervisor of I.T. Core Systems will oversee the implementation, development, and management of I.T. infrastructure across Niagara Catholic.

Ongoing learning and career growthWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Configure IT infrastructure systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation by monitoring network performance, responding to issues and ensuring connectivity of all network devices;
Deploy and configure network solutions including LANs, WANs SD-WAN, SDN, Virtual Edge Platforms, and wireless networks;
Collaborate with members of the IT Production & Cyber Security Operations Team, Regional Information Security Analyst, Cyber Security Vendors, and various other stakeholders, to ensure the Boards Cyber Security aligns with mandates from the Ministry of Education;
Implement and manage next-generation network security solutions by participating in all network security solutions, conducting security audits, and ensuring compliance with cyber security frameworks;
Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure IT Infrastructure meets current and future organizational needs and is compliant with best practices;
Perform additional duties as assigned.WHAT YOU BRING: A University or College diploma in network or electrical engineering, technology or equivalent work experience required;
10 - 15 years experience working in an IT role;
ISC2 training or certificate is required;
Completion of the Ontario Cyber Security Centre of Excellence Program or course certificates in at least three of the following areas: Breach Procedures, Business Continuity Planning, Incident Management Planning, Account Management and Password Controls, Vulnerability Management, Information Sensitivity and Protection, or, IT Asset Management;
Proven experience with LAN and WAN design and implementation, advances technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, and extensive application support and troubleshooting abilities.This is a full time, permanent position.
