Successful candidate responsibilities: Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in an elementary classroomTeach er Assistant s Qualifications : Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)

Early Childhood training and experience (desirable)Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff

Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school

Work collaboratively with service provides such has Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist

Understand and carry out oral and written direction

Work independently with minimal instruction

Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills

Respect confidentiality

Practice professionalism with all Harry Gray School students, staff, administration, parents and public
