Position Details
Monitor and track Indigenous student success progress in relation to the goals of the Aboriginal Education Enhancement Agreement
Collaborate with School-Based teams and other enrolling, non-enrolling and support staff to analyze student needs and to develop individual student learning plans
Work in consultation with enrolling classroom teachers on assessment, evaluation and programming strategies
Provide targeted instructional support to Indigenous students by working within the classroom, and in small group settings
Promote and model the integration of Indigenous cultural and traditional knowledge into classroom curriculum and school setting
Share knowledge of Indigenous curriculum resources and professional development opportunities with colleagues Qualifications Completion of a Bachelor of Education
Experience in working with Indigenous students in a school and community setting is required
Extensive knowledge and successful implementation of Indigenous history and culture is required
Experience in elementary or secondary training is required
Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Board (TRB)
Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) Your application MUST include: Cover letter
