Job Description and Requirements
St. Lawrence School is located in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and seeks enthusiastic part time AP trained teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates should be a passionate educator with strong organizational skills and robust knowledge within their subject area. The candidate will be part of a collaborative teaching team, where strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to effectively communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. All faculty and staff at St. Larwence School share an enthusiasm for making a positive and uplifting impact on our young students.
It is preferred if the successful candidate holds a valid British Columbian teaching license. They must be a positive role model and demonstrate high moral standards for students, as fitting for a teacher at an academic- oriented, independent school in British Columbia. The chosen candidate will be expected to instruct lessons, manage their classrooms effectively, maintain supportive relationships, and contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
St. Lawrence School's AP classes run from November until the end of April. These courses are scheduled outside of the regular school's timetable occurring either after school on weekdays or morning and afternoon sessions on weekends.

Position: Part-time Teaching Positions AP Statistics Curriculum Compensation Package: $60 - $80 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: Classes begin in November 2024

Ability to identify and assist students with emotional and other health concerns.
Enthusiastic, energetic, a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Well-organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
A willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures.
Enjoy leadership in extra-curricular student-based activities.
