St. Andrew's School is looking for a full-time teacher who will be working part-time teaching Grade 7 and part-time in our Learning Resource Centre. The successful applicant will be a BC Certified Teacher and a practicing Catholic, fully-engaged in his/her parish with a Pastoral Letter of Reference. For the Grade 7 teaching position, knowledge of the Grade 7 curriculum would be an asset, and as the teacher will be responsible for preparing the students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, training and experience in religious education is required. As the applicant will be co-teaching Grade 7, a commitment to working as part of a teaching team is also required. For the Learning Resource Centre position, the applicant is required to have familiarity and experience working with and supporting children with diverse needs, especially autistic children, and writing, implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and working as part of a school based team which includes Educational Assistants, Speech Language Pathologists, and Behaviour Interventionists. The successful candidate will also contribute to the school's extracurricular curricular programs through running the chess club and assisting with the basketball program.Please apply for this position online through "Make A Future."
