Hiring the Position of Receptionist/Accounting Technician

Reporting to the Manager-Financial Services, the Receptionist/Accounting Technician will: Greets visitors as they arrive at the CEC and provides friendly and courteous direction and/or service.

Maintain and file daily visitor logs.

Answers telephone calls placed to the CEC directing calls as appropriate, providing friendly and courteous direction and/or service.

Performs all mailroom duties including receiving deliveries to the CEC, routes material received as appropriate and arranges for the outbound shipment of parcels and other materials.

Process requisitions, invoices, mileage/expense reports and related tracking/documentation as required.

Provide accounting support to employees and vendors to ensure items are processed in an orderly fashion and reconcile differences. Seek guidance as required.

Filing and records tracking as needed.

Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.

Works in an uplifting, professional manner, cooperatively and positively with others.

Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Completion of a 2-year Community College Program specific to Business Administration or related specialty.

One-year recent relevant experience required.

Proficient in computer applications, Microsoft Office Suite.

Proven mathematical and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
