Successful candidate responsibilities: Working with students one-on-one & in groups in Jr. and Sr. High classrooms including working with students in a Life Skills Program Preference will be given to candidates who: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
Understand and carry out oral and written direction
Work independently with minimal instruction
Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
Respect confidentiality
Practice professionalism with all HTH students, staff, administration, parents and public
Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
Have strong interpersonal skills and patience
Enjoys working in a team environment
