2024-25 Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Elementary GeneralistSacred Heart Catholic School (Williams Lake) enrolls approximately 90 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. For the 2024 - 2025 school year, we seeking a qualified, BC certified teacher for a full-time classroom position (1.0 FTE). This position commences September 1, 2024 and concludes June 30, 2025.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess: active membership in a Catholic parish

commitment to excellence in Catholic education

Aptitude to differentiate instruction based on student needs

Knowledge of current instructional practices and the renewed curriculum

Experience using innovative teaching methods in both primary and intermediate classrooms, that may include remote learning experiences

Well-versed in the ability to integrate Catholic culture in the classroom

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods;

Excellent and proven classroom management skills

Exceptional communication strategies with students, staff, and parents.
