Music Teacher (Kindergarten to Grade 6)

Note: position includes .1 instruction time in early years PE

The successful applicant has the following attributes:

A degree in Music Education or equivalent knowledge and experience

Experience in preparing students for performances

Proficiency on keyboard/piano

An ability and willingness to continue our current extra-curricular music clubs. Experience

in strings, guitar or music technology is an asset

An outstanding educator dedicated to student achievement and personal growth

Committed to innovative educational practices and child-centered initiatives

Knowledgeable and experienced in early years curriculum

An effective communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

A teaching philosophy in keeping with Catholic education

A minimum of two professional references submitted with contact information provided

A CRC and CARC to be submitted prior to commencement of employment

A valid Manitoba Permanent Professional Certificate
