Resource Teacher

The successful candidate will:

hold a valid and subsistent Manitoba Permanent Professional Teaching Certificate,

hold or already be working towards a Special Education Teaching Certificate,

have experience and/or specific training related to this K-6 Resource Teacher position,

work in consultation and collaboration with classroom teachers and all student support team members to provide an effective and efficient academic support program for all learners,

have experience in conducting school-based assessments and developing an evaluation of a students learning needs,

work in conjunction with administration, clinical support services team members and/or medical professionals,

exhibit a commitment to the use of differentiated and innovative instructional practices and tools that enhance deep, relevant, and lifelong learning,

have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, time management, team, and leadership skills,

have strong organizational skills to assist with EA deployments and supervisory scheduling,

have a strong religious conviction and practice and have a teaching philosophy that is in keeping with the values of Catholic education.
