The Career Foundation is currently seeking Licensed Millwright/Electricians on behalf of one of our employer partners, a meat manufacturer located in the GTA.

This employer provides a safe manufacturing environment that follows strict COVID-19 protocols.



  • Motors, Gearboxes, Pumps knowledge 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic 
  • Must work strictly in compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
  • Sound problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Ability to multi-task and learn in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to operate all power equipment
  • WHMIS and First Aid would be an asset
  • Good computer skills(MS Word, Excel and CMMS Computer Maintenance Management System 


  • 2 dual ticketed millwright/electricians or an electrician with mechanical experience 
  • Licensed millwright/electrician
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
  • Experience with control panels
  • Experience with electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with blueprints
  • Electrical and hydraulic knowledge / schematics
  • Knowledge of Electrical 120/208v – 347/575v
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Basic metal fabrication (Arc/Mig welding, Tig welding Oxy/Acetylene cutting, Grinding and Drilling)
  • Flexibility to work at both plants
