The Career Foundation is immediately seeking full-time Form Brake Operators on behalf of one of our employer partners.

This employer provides a safe manufacturing environment that follows strict COVID-19 protocols.



  • Set up and operate sheet metal forming equipment according to set up sheet and instructions
  • Responsible for set up with minor program changes
  • Loading, forming, unloading product ranging from small pieces to larger sheet steel
  • Ensure the accurate measurement of parts using measuring tape, square and other instruments
  • Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machines operating time



  • Ability to read an imperial tape measure and blueprints is a must
  • Experience with Sheet Metal form brake machine
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector
  • Experience running sheet metal forming equipment is an asset
  • Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles by checking quality of work
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
