As theAnalyst, Strategic Sourcing, you willsupport and lead procurement initiatives in non-merchandise categories across the organization. In addition, you will perform key activities on a day-to-day basis relating to departmental analytics, travel & expense management and other strategic projects.


  • Work with the business units and Legal to monitor expiring contracts and proactively assess renewal or strategic sourcing opportunities
  • Manage Indigos travel & expense program and analysis
  • Maintain the SSPI SharePoint site
  • Manage the reporting and analytics for the SSPI teams key financial metrics (cost savings, vendor spend, etc.)
  • Support the SSPI team with procurement initiatives as directed by the VP Procurement
  • Conduct analysis and research to support the activities of the SSPI team
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigos customers
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them
  • Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Engineering
  • 2+ years experience in a medium to large size business
  • Experience in vendor and/or customer facing roles considered an asset
  • High level of business acumen
  • Strong analytical mind
  • Exceptional communicator across all mediums
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Logical, organized and possesses a high attention to detail
  • Team player that builds strong relationships with colleagues
